Kestrel is built the slow way. The teak frame is visible on all four sides, so it is jointed and finished as furniture rather than hidden structure. Inside, the seat is sprung with hand-tied coils — a technique that costs us a day per sofa and gives a sit that foam alone cannot reproduce. Cushions are loose and reversible, covered in a heavy washed linen you can pull off and launder. Made to order in your choice of frame finish.

Vacuum the upholstery on a low setting once a month and rotate the cushions to keep them even. Wipe the frame with a soft dry cloth and re-oil once a year. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
10-year warranty on the solid wood frame and joinery, 2 years on upholstery, foam and webbing. Covers manufacturing defects under normal domestic use; wear from misuse or unauthorised repair is not covered.
Return within 30 days of delivery for a full refund — we collect from your door at no cost. Made-to-order sizes, custom fabrics and custom polishes are not returnable once production has begun.
Made to order at our Kochi workshop. FSC-certified teak, low-VOC water-based polish, and jute-webbed suspension. Assembly is included with white-glove delivery.
