Terms & conditions
The terms you agree to when you order a piece from 7th Grain.

Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm the order by email, at which point the price, timber, finish and dimensions shown in that confirmation are the agreed specification.
We may decline an order where a piece is no longer available, where the price shown was clearly wrong, or where we cannot deliver to the address given. If we do, you are not charged.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in Indian rupees and are inclusive of taxes. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown before you confirm payment.
Made-to-order pieces are charged in full at the time of order, because production begins on your specification and the piece cannot be resold as stock.
Delivery
Lead times shown on each product are estimates from the date the order is confirmed. Made-to-order furniture is typically 30 to 45 days.
Please check access before ordering. Where a piece cannot be brought into the room because of a doorway, stairwell or lift restriction, a redelivery charge may apply.
Returns and cancellations
Ready-to-ship pieces may be returned within the window stated on the product page, in original condition and packaging. We collect from your door.
Made-to-order sizes, custom fabrics and custom polishes cannot be returned once production has begun, because they cannot be resold. This does not affect your rights where a piece arrives damaged or is not as described.
Warranty
Each piece carries the warranty stated on its product page, covering manufacturing defects in normal domestic use.
Wear from misuse, accidental damage, exposure to direct sunlight or heat, and any repair carried out by someone other than our workshop, are not covered.
Liability and governing law
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the price paid for the piece.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kochi have jurisdiction.
