Ashby is built for reading, not for sitting up straight. The frame reclines a few degrees further than most lounge chairs, and the sling seat is heavyweight cotton canvas stretched over a rubberwood structure. Rubberwood is a by-product of latex plantations — it comes out of trees that have finished producing, which makes it one of the more responsible hardwoods we work with, and it takes a pale finish beautifully.

Vacuum the upholstery on a low setting once a month and rotate the cushions to keep them even. Wipe the frame with a soft dry cloth and re-oil once a year. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
10-year warranty on the solid wood frame and joinery, 2 years on upholstery, foam and webbing. Covers manufacturing defects under normal domestic use; wear from misuse or unauthorised repair is not covered.
Return within 30 days of delivery for a full refund — we collect from your door at no cost. Made-to-order sizes, custom fabrics and custom polishes are not returnable once production has begun.
