Harrow has breadboard ends — short pieces cross-jointed at each end of the top — which is the traditional way to stop a wide solid-timber surface from cupping over the years. The legs are tapered and set inboard so nobody at the corners is fighting for knee room. The top is finished with a food-safe hard-wax oil; spills wipe off, and if the surface ever gets marked you can sand the spot and re-oil it yourself.

Vacuum the upholstery on a low setting once a month and rotate the cushions to keep them even. Wipe the frame with a soft dry cloth and re-oil once a year. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
10-year warranty on the solid wood frame and joinery, 2 years on upholstery, foam and webbing. Covers manufacturing defects under normal domestic use; wear from misuse or unauthorised repair is not covered.
